So, you have weeds? Are you saying something like the following?
We have weeds in our Lake. They are growing all summer and
slowly choking out activity..Were not sure what they are or how
to deal with them. People have told us there are people and organizations
who deal with the problem and can provide us with leads to help We have
searched the internet but we are blinded by the amount of information,
much of it highly technical. We need to find a place that can gently
guide us so we can educate ourselves and as we acquire knowledge we
can begin to stand on our own two feet, pick up the cudgel, and work
constructively on the problem.
Mass COLAP is such an organization. We are a non-profit organization
and our members come from private lake and pond associations or publicly
appointed lake committees.
Our mission is to connect people and
organizations who have problems, like you,
to people and organizations who have solutions.
We provide you with the leads and basic information so you can do the
rest.
We encourage you to become a member of MASS
COLAP, or one of its chapters, and get to talk regularly with knowledgeable
people who are, like you, in pursuit of the same objectives: control the
weeds, or algae, in your lake, pond, or river, and the pollutants flowing
in from a watershed.
The only thing we ask is that you tell us about yourself by sending
us an email and in the future share your knowledge, successes and
failures, with us and others. This effort on MASS COLAPS part is
on-going and the content of this website will be growing and changing
into the future.
If you find us helpful, please say so, if not, please say why.
